Our drone equipment is designed to suit a variety of projects and budgets. Our professional enterprise UAV (M210 V2), the drone is a powerful setup with multiple redundant systems on board, capable of carrying a dual camera including stills & video with a 1200mm zoom capability. The Drone/UAV can work in challenging environments with high winds (26mph) and extreme temperatures (-20C up to +50C). The aircraft is IP43 rated. This is a UAV/Drone designed to work in a relatively harsh construction site environment with the latest GPS + GLONASS technology and safety in mind. The aircraft is equipped with an ADS-B receiver to enhance flight safety. This drone is used on many of our projects and has delivered outstanding performance and results each time. Smaller drones are available for basic aerial photography.
The M210 V2 UAV/Drone can operate a preprogrammed automated flight route to conduct surveys that can be replicated whenever the client requests a repeat visit. This is a huge benefit for our construction site progression clients as the flight path can be accurately produced for stills and video each time it is flown. Output data can include:
Aerial Photographs (Annotated as requested) – Orthophoto drone services Swansea, South Wales
We offer video editing and audio post-production to our clients. These can be arranged as part of your package if required. If you would like any further help or advice for an existing or up and coming project please get in contact and we will do everything we can to help.
The Weather can affect a pre-planned drone flight.
Weather conditions can affect any drone operation. Careful consideration is given to this aspect of our business every time we fly. Although our large enterprise drone is rated IP43 which includes an element of weather sealing, this does not mean we will fly in moderate to heavy rain conditions. When we provisionally book a date to carry out a flight task, please be aware that this may change if the weather poses a threat to the aircraft system. The wind is also a consideration, however, our M210 V2 is a large, high power aircraft capable of flying in relatively high winds. Please note that if weather conditions change for the worse during a flight, the likelihood of collecting meaningful data or imagery is vastly reduced.
All drone operations are risk assessed based on a variety of factors. The weather is one of the most important factors for the safe operation on the proposed day of the flight. All drone operations are unique and conform to guidelines and aviation-related items of UK Legislation set by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) for UK airspace. The Remote Pilot makes the final decision as to whether the flight can be conducted safely while maintaining the safety measures written in the UAS Operating Safety Case for SKYSIGHT UAV with an Operational Authorisation granted by the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
There are a variety of Websites, Flight Apps and other weather resources used during our flight planning and research process, including the Met Office 5 Day Forecast UK (opens in a new tab)
